[ he considers erik for a second, thinking, and then names off a place - nothing too hardcore on the making out and practically having sex on the dancefloor and definitely having sex in the bathrooms with drugs based around kind of ambiance, but still a nightclub. Not really going to be what erik's expecting. but then again, jack isn't familiar with the time that erik came from. so who knows?

[ jack gives him a nod and parts to go stash his purchases. he showers and changes as well, despite telling erik he didn't need to. look, he can't wear the same thing to the club that he wore during the day, it's not okay.

later, he finds the club he'd given directions to and skims, an urge to go find some shadows and... be jack... rising, but he doesn't plan on any of that. not with erik around. really, not with anyone around. despite his whole 'living out' thing, there's still that creeping shame that lingers.

it's not a too extreme club, but it isn't some kind of gentleman's lounge. there's no chess and cigars here. not too loud, not too many flashing lights, and people are mostly all clothed. erik will find him leaning his elbows against the bar's counter top when he makes it there, chatting with the bartender. ]

[ Erik also changed into proper club wear, like actually proper, like he spent a lot of time walking around ducking into clubs to study what people were wearing. Because he's weird.

Then he saunters right up to the bar and takes a seat, interrupting their conversation to say hello and order them shots of tequila. ]

[ omfg erik that is weird. he told you you looked fine. but whatever, jack's guilty of doing the same thing. it is a little funny, actually, and after giving a pointed look to erik's new attire, he gives a smirk. ]

[ he pulls of the tumbler of something blue and slightly glowing (yum, alien liquor) that he'd ordered early, taking a casual sip from it as he turns out towards the larger club. ]
